Memorial Issue of Look magazine 1964

What were you doing on November 17th, 1964?  Well…this issue of “Look” magazine from that date might bring back some memories.  This is a “Memorial” issue for John F. Kennedy with his wife Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and her son on the cover.  It is still in decent shape, but has had a few hands and eyes on it over the years.  I didn’t actually “see” any eye prints…but there could possible some dried tears on it. (these don’t show either).  This item could possibly be a “…diamond in a goat’s xxx.. as I’ve heard some say from time to time.  Bid on this and make it yours.

Welcome To All Our Friends

Welcome To All Our Friends!!

We are glad you’re here.  For those of you that have come here for information on our auction such as what we have that you can put your name on… continue reading. We are asking for donations. We are proud, but not stupid…as you well know.  We will accept money donations as well as items. The items of course, will be posted on the site here, for us to put into the Que for their turn to be posted to the auction. Dollar donations are accepted by clicking on one of the PayPal buttons you will see around in various places.

We ask you to be generous because ultimately a lot…even most of it, will find its way back to you in cost savings in various events we are sure to have, including our “50th Will Rogers High School Reunion”, to be held here in Tulsa THIS YEAR… October 6th and 7th.  ( Shameless plug there ) Of course a very small part of it might pay for pizza and beer we plan on having during some of our planning sessions for this event. (That was a weak attempt at some humor). It’s getting increasingly difficult to separate money from some of us.  lol

The auctions will begin soon, I’m still working out the formatting and also some shipping details and the like.  So keep checking back often, if nothing more than to see some of the interesting new graphic stuff I’m working up.

God Bless!!

— Earl Purkey
